Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, everyone! I suppose most people on WordPress do blog entries about themselves, their lives, and their views on life. Some people have businesses. Some people wanted to start a blog for school, or for work, or for a new adventure. I started mine because of my writing and art, to get the word out about my publications, and to share with you a bit about myself. It is another year, and after we have had parties in celebration of the end of the holiday season and the start to 2017, we need to buckle down, make resolutions, and form a plan. Listen to me. The years go by, and sometimes happy things happen to us, and sometimes disappointing things happen to us. But we need to keep our lives and other people’s lives in perspective. Humans have been a species on earth for a long time. Scriptures tell us there is nothing new under the sun. Carrie Fisher from Hollywood just died, and she was my muse and inspiration. When I was a child, I used to think that life would take forever, but now I realize that Heaven is in the moment. Seize the moment. Seize the day, as the late Robin Williams would have said. When we look at life as a long process, we will never be happy. Always take the opportunity to be joyful, to be celebratory, and to be in bliss. Happy holidays, again. May the force be with you.
